ORIENT a small Unicode editor
Orient a Small Unicode Editor for Windows (Version 2.3) is probably the smallest editor able to handle UNICODE texts. It saves and loads files in Unicode format, incorporates bi-directional text support for Arabic or Hebrew languages (RightToLeft) and support for Asian languages (Chinese and Japanese).
The two special functions included in ORIENT can handle many situations (Unicode and 8 bit 1255 CP). Note they apply to the current selection.
- In the first case, you need to convert to Unicode and "mirror" the text. We call "mirroring" the action reversing an Hebrew phrase orientation. Use the “Cp1255->Unicode” to do both jobs.
- In the second case, you just need to “mirror” it ! Select the word or phrase and click on the “Mirroring” yellow button. It's done.
